Experience and other qualifications required:
- Master's degree required. Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum 18 graduate hours in Government/Political Science required. 18 graduate hours in a secondary teaching field preferred.
- 3 years teaching experience, preferably including experience teaching at a community college.
- Experience using Blackboard or similar LMS.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and creative. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Description of job duties:
- The government instructor at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ will be responsible for teaching Texas Government and Federal Government and other areas in which the faculty member is qualified, based on college needs. The teaching load is 5/5 with overload and summer option available. The position is for a full-time face-to-face instructor.
