The 星空传媒 Theatre Department invites the community to enjoy an out-of-this-world theatrical event this fall. On Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts, NTCC will present Return to Roswell, an original play written and directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, NTCC Professor of Theatre.
Admission is free, and donations will be accepted to benefit the newly revitalized Theatre Club.
About the Play
Return to Roswell follows three sisters as they journey back to Roswell, New Mexico鈥攖he place that has long been the center of conflict in their relationship. For the eldest sister, Roswell is a place of mystery and wonder, but for the others, it stirs only frustration and doubt. This trip, however, could change everything. Will they finally uncover common ground鈥攐r even discover something truly out of this world?
A Special Experience for Alumni
As part of opening night festivities, Theatre Northeast alumni are invited to take part in a unique celebration. Following the Friday evening performance, alumni can leave their mark by placing a painted handprint, along with their name and NTCC attendance dates, on the Theatre Wall of Honor in classroom Whatley 135.
From the Director
鈥淲e are thrilled to bring Return to Roswell to the stage,鈥 said Dr. Page Petrucka, playwright and director. 鈥淭his show has been such a joy to create, and we鈥檙e even more excited that it will help raise funds to support our growing Theatre Club. Our students are working hard to build a strong tradition of theatre at NTCC, and this production is a big step in that journey.鈥
Don鈥檛 miss this opportunity to enjoy live theatre, reconnect with friends, and support the arts at NTCC.
