Honors Northeast, the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Honors Program, is pleased to announce its Honors Students for the 2022-2023 school year. This includes seven Presidential Scholars and 18 Honors Scholars.
Beginning Fall 2020 due to recent strategies to include ag classes as science options in core, developing a new method of delivering dual credit courses in our cooperating ISD’s and improving and expanding our on-line offerings- as COVID hit, the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Agriculture department doubled enrollment. Following this substantial increase, every semester showed double digit growth!
The Ðǿմ«Ã½ Vocational Nursing (VN) program recently learned that 100% of its graduates from August 2022 passed their NCLEX-PN examinations. This marks the second year in a row that the VN program has had a 100% pass rate.

The Ðǿմ«Ã½ Art Department will host an exhibit featuring decorative painters from the Quitman chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters on October 7th through 26th in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts foyer.
Ðǿմ«Ã½â€™s Dr. Page Petrucka was recently honored by the Texas Educational Theatre Association (TxETA) for her original 10-minute play called Number 42. She received the award at the group’s annual Playfest event in Galveston this September.
