ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Softball made the trip to Louisiana to take on NJCAA number 15 ranked Bossier Parish Community College on Saturday. BPCC would take down NTCC 10-2 in game one and narrowly escaped with a 4-3 win in game two of the series.
Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs will host Springfest Week April 5-9. This weeklong event is a great opportunity for students to confirm and celebrate their decision to attend ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. The week also provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to enjoy conversations that will lead to relationship building outside of the classroom. A&M-Texarkana at NTCC and Communities In Schools (CIS) are teaming up for a "Fresh and Clean for Spring" drive. They are seeking donations of personal care items to be distributed through the NTCC Eagle Pantry and to area school children served by CIS.
Personal care items like soap, deodorant, oral hygiene products, etc. are much appreciated. Donations can be dropped off in UHS 113 through May 1. Contact Kelly or Shannon at 903-434-8357 with any questions you may have.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ hosted Bossier Parish Community College in a single nine inning conference game on Thursday. BPCC took an early lead and NTCC was not able to overcome the early deficit despite a valiant comeback attempt. Bossier Parish won the close contest 10-9 to take an early series lead.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Softball traveled to Paris Junior College on Wednesday to open the 2021 Conference season. Paris would get the upper hand defeating NTCC 6-1 in game one and made a comeback effort to take down the Eagles 15-14 in game two.
Averie Ayers (Mount Pleasant HS) would get the start in the circle in game one. She would pitch five innings, allowing just 3 hits and striking out 6.
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Mu Chi, attended the Texas Regional Convention virtually this past weekend and returned with several awards. In addition, the chapter successfully campaigned for the Texas Region District III Vice President position. The elected representative, Cade Bennett, will take part in leadership training, public speaking opportunities, and travel throughout the state.
