Dr. Kevin Rose has been named the sole finalist for president of Ðǿմ«Ã½. The NTCC Board of Trustees unanimously voted to move forward with his appointment during their regular April meeting, held on May 6.
Per state law, a 21-day notice is required before a sole finalist can be officially appointed.
The Ðǿմ«Ã½ Taste of NTCC: Battle of the Booths event was a huge success! Seven booths served up a variety of delicious dishes for sampling by a large crowd of students, faculty, staff and community members. Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the participating clubs and organizations.
Each ticket holder was able to cast votes for their favorite booths. The winners of the People’s Choice awards were as follows:
Peyton Holland, a sophomore softball player at Ðǿմ«Ã½ (NTCC), was recently featured on an episode of the All In Sports Outreach Podcast, where she shared her powerful story of faith, perseverance, and athletic achievement.

The Ðǿմ«Ã½ Eagles finished the regular season sweeping Navarro College three games to zero to earn the second seed in the Region 14 post season tournament South Bracket.
NTCC won game one of the series on Tuesday at Northeast 13-9 and then headed to Corsicana on Saturday to finish out the regular season and earn the sweep with a tight 3-2 win in game two and a 9-4 win in game three of the series.
The Ðǿմ«Ã½ Foundation finished East Texas Giving Day 2025 at the top of the leaderboard for the fourth year in a row this Tuesday. NTCC raised a record-breaking $557,833 via the annual fundraising event that has become a regional tradition.
The Ðǿմ«Ã½ (NTCC) Men’s Rodeo Team is heading to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming, June 15-21, 2025, after claiming the team title at the final Southern Region College Rodeo of the season, hosted by Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas.

Ðǿմ«Ã½ (NTCC) is now enrolling students for a wide selection of math and physics courses available this summer. These courses are popular among NTCC students and those home from universities looking to complete degree requirements affordably and efficiently.
Courses are offered online and on campus to provide flexibility for busy students. With options ranging from developmental math to advanced calculus and physics, there’s something for every level of learner.
