The NTCC Eagles Women's Soccer team lit up the pitch on September 16th with a thrilling comeback victory over Paris Junior College, giving fans a match to remember in Mount Pleasant.
Paris struck first to grab the early lead, but NTCC stayed composed and battled their way back. The equalizer came in the second half when Kashima Ince laid off a perfect ball to Harmiane Jones, who calmly slotted it home to bring the Lady Eagles level.

The Adult Education Department at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is accepting new and returning students for its GED (General Educational Development) and English Language programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs should call to make an appointment for registration beginning September 29. While classes are offered in various convenient locations around the area, all registration will be held at the Community Resource Center (formerly MPISD Administration Building) at 105 N. Riddle Street in Mount Pleasant.
The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ (NTCC) Culinary Arts Program will present its fall buffet luncheon, A Taste of Fall, on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the NTCC Culinary Arts school in downtown Pittsburg (114 Jefferson Street).
The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Board of Trustees voted Tuesday to name Dr. Ron Clinton President Emeritus in recognition of his more than 40 years of service to the college.
Alpha Mu Chi, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s five-star award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), hosted a District III meeting of the Texas Region on Friday, Sept. 12. District III includes the northeastern corner of the state, running from Texarkana down to near Waco. The meeting was also offered virtually to colleges in District I, which covers western Texas.
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ will add some extra fun to its 40th Anniversary Community Picnic with a Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The event will be held on the NTCC campus and is open to the public.
The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Visual Arts program has opened its first art exhibit of the academic year in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The show, which runs September 10–24, features the work of mixed media and abstract artist Michelle Dvorak. The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular business hours.
