ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ (NTCC) is now welcoming students to join the Eagle Senate Student Government Association (SGA) for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester.
The Eagle Senate is NTCC’s official student leadership team, offering students a chance to build leadership skills, plan campus events, and connect with others across campus. All currently enrolled students are eligible to join—no elections required.

Dr. Chris T. McAllister, NTCC Biology, and two NTCC independent study students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez traveled to the Ozarks at Clinton, Arkansas, July 14-18, 2025, and continued their novel research on fish parasites. They were joined by Dr. Steve Chordas, III., from Ohio State University, an expert on true bugs (Hemiptera).
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ wrapped up another exciting year of Kids Discovery College, welcoming over 100 young students to campus for two weeks of hands-on exploration, creativity, and discovery. With 12 engaging courses ranging from science and theater to technology and art, the camp offered local youth an unforgettable summer experience.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is currently accepting applications for its Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) and Medical Assistant (MA) programs for Fall 2025. Both programs offer hands-on training and strong job prospects in the growing healthcare field.
NTCC student Jose Fuentes took the stage at the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute at Texas Lutheran University. The conference itself was held July 11 - 13, but Jose, as the District III Vice President, arrived the day before with the leadership team to help set up for the conference.
, NTCC’s five-star, award-winning chapter of , participated in the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 11-13 on the campus of Texas Lutheran University (TLU) in Seguin, Texas. During the conference, attendees stayed in dorms on the TLU campus, ate in the campus dining hall, and participated in activities in classrooms and outdoor activity areas.
has donated $1,000 to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ to provide CPR certification for all first-year students in the college’s Work4College program. The training, taught by NTCC EMS instructors through the American Heart Association, includes adult, child, and infant CPR, as well as AED use.

Students in the NTCC Work4College Program participated in the Money Matters financial literacy simulation fair this Thursday in the Student Union Building. The event, sponsored by , is an exciting, interactive exercise to help students learn more about managing their personal finances.
