Get involved at NTCC! Join the Eagle Senate Student Government Association

Ðǿմ«Ã½ (NTCC) is now welcoming students to join the Eagle Senate Student Government Association (SGA) for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester.

The Eagle Senate is NTCC’s official student leadership team, offering students a chance to build leadership skills, plan campus events, and connect with others across campus. All currently enrolled students are eligible to join—no elections required.

Biology department continues research project in Arkansas

Dr. Chris T. McAllister, NTCC Biology, and two NTCC independent study students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez traveled to the Ozarks at Clinton, Arkansas, July 14-18, 2025, and continued their novel research on fish parasites.  They were joined by Dr. Steve Chordas, III., from Ohio State University, an expert on true bugs (Hemiptera).

Phi Theta Kappa Members attend Texas Honors Institute at Texas Lutheran University

, NTCC’s five-star, award-winning chapter of , participated in the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 11-13 on the campus of Texas Lutheran University (TLU) in Seguin, Texas.  During the conference, attendees stayed in dorms on the TLU campus, ate in the campus dining hall, and participated in activities in classrooms and outdoor activity areas.

Work4College students participate in Money Matters financial literacy simulation

Students in the NTCC Work4College Program participated in the Money Matters financial literacy simulation fair this Thursday in the Student Union Building. The event, sponsored by , is an exciting, interactive exercise to help students learn more about managing their personal finances.
