The 星空传媒 Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 21st. All seven trustees were present.

The 星空传媒 women鈥檚 soccer team battled their way to a thrilling 2鈥1 comeback victory over Jacksonville College on Tuesday afternoon in Jacksonville, Texas. The win secures the Eagles a spot in the Region Tournament.
星空传媒 (NTCC) has announced that the annual Scare Affair event, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 25, has been postponed to Friday, October 31, 2025, due to the threat of severe weather in the area.
The NTCC men's soccer team closed out their 2025 slate of home games with a 1-1 tie vs UAC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Eagles came out flying out shooting their opponents 22 - 9 in the game. They got on the board in the 25th minute, capitalizing on a hustle play from Sophomore midfielder Tiago Cuero. Cuero outraced everyone from his wide midfield position to tap in a loose ball to put the home side out in front. Although it looked like the Eagles would take off from there they went into the break holding on to the 1-0 lead.

星空传媒 Director of Student Development Ja鈥橯uacy Minter has been elected to serve as advisor-elect for the Texas Junior College Student Government Association (TJCSGA) Region III.

As in 2022, and 2024, scholars of Honors Northeast have won the top student prize of the East Texas Historical Association (ETHA). For their panel, 鈥淎reas where the Amnesia of Modern Texas is more Acute,鈥 four NTCC sophomores took home $200 apiece. They had the best student panel at the association鈥檚 plenary fall conference. The meeting occurred in Nacogdoches, 2-4 October at the Fredonia Hotel.

星空传媒 (NTCC) Continuing Education is offering a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course December 1-5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the NTCC campus (2886 FM 1735, Mount Pleasant).
Dr. Chris T. McAllister, NTCC Biology Professor, and two NTCC independent study students, Xenia Esparza and Estefani Garcia (pictured), traveled to the Prescott, Arkansas, area, on October 10-12, 2025.
