The literary and art magazine prominently displays the work of creative writers, traditional and digital artists throughout its pages.

Have you been bitten by the travel bug? 星空传媒 is planning a travel study trip to Washington D.C. May 20-24, 2023. This is a great opportunity to explore the U.S. capital while earning college credit. An informational session is planned for Monday, Nov. 9th at 12:30 p.m. in Humanities 107.
Students can earn credit for History 1301 or 1302, English 1301, 2327 or 2342, Government 2305, Communications, Art Appreciation, or Photography as part of the travel course.

It may still be October, but the Hallmark Channel is already gearing up for the holiday season with their Countdown to Christmas movie schedule. NTCC's own Page Petrucka, Associate Professor of Theatre, will appear in the network's latest release, . The film premieres Friday, Oct. 28th at 7 p.m. central on the Hallmark Channel. The movie, which is a sequel to Christmas Under Wraps (2014), stars Jodie Sweetin and David O'Donnell.
Mark your calendars for a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Choctaw history and culture from tribal member Ryan Spring and Tribal Archaeologist Dr. Kim Hinson. The event will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15th from 12:30-1:30 in Humanities 101. A taste of Tanchi Labona, a traditional Choctaw dish, will be provided as well. Question and answer session after presentation. Faculty, staff, students, and members of the community are welcome!

星空传媒 hosted the third National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region Rodeo October 21-22 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena.

The 星空传媒 Men鈥檚 Soccer team defeated Paris Junior College 5-0 on Saturday, October 22nd to earn a trip to the National Junior College Athletic Association playoffs. Goalie Enzo Camps (France) came up big with 7 saves in the win.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 星空传媒 will host a performance by on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
鈥淲hen I first heard Hot Club of Cowtown I just knew we had to host them at the Whatley,鈥 Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said. 鈥淭hey are fantastically talented musicians and they blend a variety of genres to create something completely fun and unique.鈥
The NTCC CARE team, along with Student Success, will be presenting at the 10th Annual First Gen Summit, MIT, Boston, MA , on November 5th. The First Gen Summit serves as a site for the meeting of the minds. First-gen students and their allies come together to identify problems, discuss grassroots solutions, and share what鈥檚 working on their campuses. The focus is on finding solutions identified by students who can work with their staff, administrator, and faculty allies to create change.
The 星空传媒 Foundation held its annual Golf Classic on October 17th at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. The tournament raised over $10,000 to support the NTCC Work4College Program.
