The 星空传媒 Foundation is pleased to announce that eight NTCC employees have been awarded funds through the 2023 Whatley Employee Enhancement Grant. The Foundation received 16 outstanding applications. A total of $13,039.99 was awarded through the grant or by additional private donors.

The soccer coach is responsible for performing all duties regarding recruiting players, organizing, practicing, maintaining the playing field and practice facilities, scheduling, budgeting, developing student athletes, fundraising, and representing the college in the community as well as all other duties related to the women鈥檚 soccer program and the student athletes who participate. The Head Soccer Coach's position requires great leadership of a college athletic program. This person must have high regard for sportsmanship and academic achievement.

The 星空传媒 Vocational Nursing (VN) program recently learned that 100% of its graduates from August 2024 passed their NCLEX-PN examinations. This marks the fourth year in a row that the VN program has had a 100% pass rate.

Students from the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at 星空传媒 attended the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. In addition to attending one of the largest automotive trade shows in the world, students also had the opportunity to attend a special event at the Carroll Shelby Heritage Center at the invitation of Shelby American and the Carroll Shelby Foundation.

Is your new year鈥檚 resolution to start a new career? If so, The 星空传媒 Continuing Education department has a great opportunity to consider. A new 13-week HVAC Installer Helper Program begins in January 2025. It focuses on broad, transferable skills, including an understanding of the heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation industry. The program will begin January 21st and run through April 9th with classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
The Theatre Program at 星空传媒 is thrilled to present its highly anticipated production of Wait Until Dark this Thursday, Nov. 14th through Saturday, Nov. 16th in the on-stage black box theater of the Whatley Center. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with an additional 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Due to the unique setup, seating is limited, and advance tickets are highly recommended.
