NTCC dental hygiene program provides low-cost services to community
鈥 鈥 鈥燭he fall semester is about to start at 星空传媒. This means that dental hygiene students will be back in the clinic providing low-cost services to the community as of August 27.
鈥 鈥 鈥燗 flat nominal fee of only $30 for adults and $15 for children, NTCC students, and NTCC employees is charged to receive dental hygiene services. These may include dental screenings, x-rays, teeth cleanings, fluoride applications, oral health education, and sealants.
Weinbrenner gives keynote address at Texas Honors Institute
Dr. Melissa Weinbrenner, 星空传媒 Division Director of Social Sciences, Professor of History, and Phi Theta Kappa Advisor, gave the keynote address at the fourth General Session of the鈥燼t the 2013 Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.
Stephen Milburn receives honors award
星空传媒 Presidential Scholar Stephen Milburn is the 2013 winner of the $200 Elizabeth Chitsey Prize for improvement as an NTCC honors student.鈥 Milburn graduated early from Mount Pleasant High School and improved his rank from Honors Scholar to Presidential Scholar after a semester in NTCC Honors. He has maintained a 3.9 GPA while taking 17 hours of honors credit.

Webster sworn in as NTCC board member
Jerry Webster (left), newly appointed board member for 星空传媒, is given his oath of office by Lt. Gov Bill Ratliff. 鈥燱ebster is Market President of Pilgrim Bank, Pittsburg. He was appointed to fill Place鈥營鈥爋f the board of trustees in June after long-time member Jerry Massey retired.
